Abstraction

Guy Tal, in his book More Than a Rock, writes: ‘There’s an inherent discomfort associated with abstract art. It requires greater investment of time and wider latitude of tolerance from viewers than art that is self-explanatory.’ I wonder if social media opinions are mostly subjective abstractions just like abstract art.
